Chirpy, bubbly, vivacious that Chandni was; it was like a breath of fresh air for the ever studious coder Mohit. ‘It was love at first sight’, he admits.
Pings, gossips, snack breaks and every time that he could catch her was perfume to the seriousness of this coder’s life. Stability, unperturbed decision-making, patience was his territory fascinating to this impulsive and instantaneous chic. Food was her first love. He could do with being the second. Their shared passion for music, good food and quality of life only got them closer. A common circle of friends, Countless food reviews with new found company, Movies at the theatre, Trips with friends to Mysore, Goa and the hundreds of restaurants trips in Bangalore later, they were addicted to the company. ‘It was this warm fuzzy home-like comforting feeling’, says Chandni. 2017 saw Mohit leave the city for a couple of weeks. Separation got the better of her. This is when she knew she can’t stay without him. Through health and through sickness, through love and through the struggle, the 2 years had tested the metal of their friendship enough for her to finally give in.
